Bistrotheque is a restaurant in Bethenal Green. It was hidden and on a random street but is such a gem. Everything we order was delicious. Highly recommend.

Trying New Food
I’ve been introduced to a lot of new “British” foods since working in an office. I’ll be honestly they are all snacks and junk food but it’s interesting because if it’s just me and Jon alone we would never try any of these. This is an iced finger bun. It’s a roll with icing on …

Back To Reality
My first week of work has been great. It’s been all classroom training which is semi-boring but very helpful at the same time. There are 11 new hires in total for my department since it is a new department for the UK office of the company. They even gave us our own laptops with these …

An Expat Thanksgiving
We had a very busy and fun Thanksgiving weekend here in London. We started with a delicious Whole Foods prepared Thanksgiving meal with AT and David. Friday we took a breather. Saturday we went to our friends flat where she cooked the feast herself! Sunday AT and I ran the Movember 5k in Battersea park. …

Crazy Daily Deals
Daily Deals are still going strong. I’ve had great experiences and horrible experiences but the good outweigh the bad so I still look through them daily. I’ve noticed a trend of expensive, crazy deals going on now. Surgery is the craziest. I don’t want a deal on that, I want an experienced, highly recommended doctor …

Lunargliding Around London
It was time to say goodbye to my old running sneakers and invest in a new pair. Sneakers should be replaced every year or every 300-400 miles (some people might say 300-500). I went to NikeTown Oxford Circus to get a gait analysis and hopefully purchase new sneakers. After running on the treadmill at Nike …

Afternoon in Greenwich
Greenwich seems so far away from central London but it really isn’t. It took us about 50 minutes to get there by tube/DLR. We walked through the market which was PACKED. The food stalls and craft stands were all great and I wish I could have looked more but there were just too many people …

Stay To The…..
Left or right? I’m too scared to drive here. I don’t even want to try it but I really want to explore the areas outside of London that you can’t get to by train. Driving through the country would be so nice while stopping at pubs and shops along the way. UK car hire is …
