Training Or Lack There Of…

I have my first half marathon in 3 weeks.  I knew I was not going to follow a formal training plan because that just isn’t how I work when it comes to running.  I need a schedule for everything else in my life but running.

Yesterday was my first long run in a while and it felt good. I ran along the Thames path from Shad Thames to Greenwich and back.

The Thames path is clearly marked with these signs so you can’t get lost.  When I got down to Greenwich I stopped to take some photos on the beautiful day.

 So back to the half marathon that is in 3 weeks…..

I am not 100% prepared but that doesn’t mean I won’t finish.  I am very competitive with myself so I have a goal in mind and will beat that goal.  The only thing that really matters is me crossing that line and FINISHING. The rest is just a run in Windsor.
