We were talking in class the other day about a product from another country launching in the UK and the steps it would need to take. My teacher asked the class what products they are missing and I said “everything”. I guess I said it louder than I thought because she laughed and asked me to name things. I wanted to make a list of things to see how many there actually are. Clearly I’m living without them so they aren’t necessities but it’s fun to see the what I miss.
Paydays (the candy)
Paydays (from working) – I got an internship!
Peanut butter
Brummel and Brown spread
Swiffer (rumor has it they do exist here but I’ve looked everywhere and can’t find it!)
Dollars (yes the currency)
Chopped Salads
Dunkin Donuts
Bloody Mary mix (can’t find it anywhere)
Chobani greek yogurt

i live overseas and we get a lot of our food imported from the France, Belgium, UK, etc.
I am always SHOCKED that there is never any peanut butter! I’ve met quite a few people from France in their 30′s that have ever tried peanut butter. I’ll never understand it!! lol.

Hey Ashley!
I found you from Skinny Runner [bet your stats are flying today!]
I grew up in the States, but was born in London and have been living back here for a year now. The #1 thing I missed [other than sunshine, of course] was nut butter – but now I get mine from the Whole Foods in South Kensington. It’s three stories and has a whole section where you can get fresh ground nut butter. Wayyy cheaper than the jarred stuff.
Haven’t seen any Chobani but Fage is pretty prevalent!

We live near the Whole Foods so it’s pretty much our second home. Amazing!

No peanut butter?! That just sounds strange. Are there any nut butters there? I mean what’s a girl to do with white bread, jelly, and a huge glass of ice cold milk if there is no peanut butter??
Lorraine recently posted..Back to the grind..

There are 2 different types of PB in the regular grocery stores but they taste gross so if my mom has been shipping me some or we could go to Whole Foods for more options (but they don’t carry my favorite brand). It’s bizarre!
